Iliza Shlesinger

Iliza Shlesinger is stand up female comedian who won the NBC`s Last comic stand season 6 show. Iliza was born on February 22, 1983, in Dallas Texas. Iliza graduated from the Emerson College.



Iliza was the member of the famous stand up comedy group White boy Comedy that bring her to the stage at Improv, Hollywood.

Iliza Shlesinger is the first stand up female comedian who won the Last Stand Comic show. Before that last tow seasons she won the elimination round twice. Currently she is hosting a show at TheStream.tv, named The Weakly News. Winning the Last Comic Stand show became her youngest female that won the title.

Iliza quickly gain the fame and her comedy style took her at the boom. Her TV worked includes her own half hour show at the Comedy Central by the name of Comedy Central Live at Gotham, included Showtime with Pauly Shore and Friends, The Soup and Chelsea Lately at E! And her latest NBC`s Last call.

Iliza is touring at colleges and the comedy clubs all over America. Touring dates are available at her official website. Her performance for the tropes at various locations and at the Just For Laugh festival at Montreal was significant.

Iliza Vie Shlesinger (born February 22, 1983) is an American comedian from Dallas, Texas, where she attended Greenhill School and participated on the school's Improv Team. She is a graduate of Emerson College. She was one of the most popular members of the "Whiteboy Comedy" group of stand-up comedians in Los Angeles which brought her to the stage at the Improv in Hollywood. She is the first female to win Last Comic Standing. She was twice selected by other comedians to compete in the head-to-head eliminations and won both times. She is host of The Weakly News on TheStream.tv



Shlesinger became the first female and also the youngest winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing in the series' sixth season. She appeared in The Last Comic Standing Tour.

Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas. She attended the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She then transferred to Emerson College in Boston and majored in Film. There she was a member of the campus' second favorite comedy sketch group, Jimmy’s Traveling All Stars and refined her writing and editing skills. After graduating college, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up.



In 2007, Shlesinger won Myspace’s So You Think You're Funny contest and has been featured as the G4 network’s Myspace Girl of the Week. Her television credits include E! Network's Forbes Celebrity 100, TV Guide’s America’s Next Top Producer, Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed, and History Channel’s History of a Joke. She has written for Heavy.com, had her own show on GOTV’s mobile network and currently hosts The Weakly News with Iliza and Alexis on TheStreamTV.
